We had a walk around the town and we liked the quiet streets...
We had a walk around the town and we liked the quiet streets and the market. The houses had beautiful gardens and there was a beautiful church quite near the city centre which is worth visiting. There were various places to eat ranging from pizza and burger places to dining places and bars. Also, there were many parks and open places for people to take their children and let them play. There is access to nearby cities like Billund and Vejle through a train and bus service. Finally, the long distance train can take the traveller from Give to all parts of Denmark ( from Copenhagen to Aarhus or Aalborg).Guest review byPamoustGreece - Review score10.0
It is an extremely quiet small town, not a lot of activities...
It is an extremely quiet small town, not a lot of activities but close to Billund, (15 mins on bus), Legoland and Llalandia water park. Well worth the visit. More affordable accommodation than staying in Billund itself, but a lot of walking when you don't have a car on holiday with you. No taxi locally in Give. Two small supermarkets, a small sculpture park, bakery, etc. It has a train station, so good connection to other towns in Denmark, clean and tidy village, peaceful and felt very safe. A really nice and authentic DK commune, peaceful and relaxing. There are nearby shops, restaurants and bakery with great products in a fair price-quality range. In a walking distance you can reach Give main station to further reach Vejle and the wonderful North Sea; respectively 119 bus to arrive to Legoland Billund.
